Tuesday Trigger Pyrex Effect

Just a quick post today. Its been raining and very cold. My fingers are freezing. So can't do a long  post. There may be a lot of typos too. Forgive me if you find any typos.... Brrrrr!
Here is the Tuesday Trigger picture.

And here is my take on the picture.

This card was made using Papertrey Ink's Grunge Me stamp set. Love this set too. One of the few masculine sets I recently bought. I wanted a CAS card but a graphic one. Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by! I could do with a cup of hot tea now Brrrrr!

You're my hero

Here is quick masculine card I made for Embellish Text Color Challenge.

I had recently bought some Papertrey Ink Masculine stamp sets and was itching to ink them. This set is called My Hero My Dad. Simple yet beautiful elements and sentiments in this set. I decided to make a Clean and Simple card.
Here is closeup of the card.
I have used Embellish Text Color Challenge to make this card. The challenge also includes text on the card. So it was perfect to experiment with the new stamp set.If you are interested to play this challenge please click on the picture below for he link.

Thanks for stopping by and taking time to comment on my work )
Have a great weekend!

May PTI BLog Hop

Hi everybody,
It is PTI Blog Hop day today! And here is this month's theme.
Flowers
May is the month when many flowers finally go into full bloom after a long winter's sleep.  For the blog hop this month we want to see your favorite take on flowers.  You can stamp backgrounds, create custom floral embellishments, showcase unique flower center additions (buttons, rhinestones, beads, etc...), flowers die-cut from different materials (like fabric, felt, vellum, etc...) or anything else you can  dream up!  We are looking forward to seeing all of your amazing creations!

Who does not like flowers? I love love flowers. They bring  joy and happiness to me. There is so many many flower tutorials on the internet world. I was overwhelmed. But I love rolled flowers. So I made some rolled flowers using  PTI Hawaiian Shore felt and used them on my card.

Hope you enjoyed my rolled flower card.
Now I am off to see a lot of amazing flowers from the blog hop.
Happy Hopping :)

Thanks for everything!

Sharing a card I made to give a friend of mine. Here is the card.

And a close up the rolled fabric flower I made using pink gingham fabric.

Doesn't the flower look gorgeous with the antique button on it? My first time making the flower and love making them. I need fabrics now :)
To make this card I used the recent Embellish Challenge.  There should be tag on the project as well.  Here is the challenge for you.

If you are interested to play, there is still 3 days left. Click here to the blog for details.
Have a great week. Got to go to the post office and send in an application.

Country style!

Hello everybody, I have another card share today for CR84FN28.
Here is heir latest photo and colours.

Here is my take on the challenge. I was inspired by the gingham and the flowers on the photo.

Here is a closeup

I created the red gingham using Papertrey Ink Gingham  background stamp. The pattern apper is from Crate paper. The focal tag is spellbinder die stamped using Waltzingmouse stamp and the sentiment  and the flourish stamp is from Wplus9. The rose flower is from Kaisercraft, leaves from Prima Marketing and red ribbon is from Papertrey Ink. I love the warm country feel of the card. Hope you like it too!

My son had a scholarship exam  for his high school this morning. He came out relieved and said he has done 3 out of 4 papers well. A bit unhappy about the one paper. Hopefully all goes well. We will know the result in August. We can relax now for another 3 weeks before starting prepartion for  music theory exams. When kids were little and dependent on me for everything, I felt if kids grow up and become independent, I could be free. But a whole lot of new things crop up at every stage. Not that I am cribbing, I love them.  There is always something to do for them. I guess such is life!  I now wonder what will I do when they leave house in a few years?  I will certainly miss them and house will be empty :(

OK! I have to pick up my daughter from school now and take both of them for their swimming lesson. Have a great evening!

Happy Birthday!

What a freezing Sunday! Its winter already and hate cloudy chilly miserable days. Anyway, I made a card for my friend's  little girl who is turning one on Tuesday.  There is a party to celebrate. So I went all gittery on the card.

 Here is a closeup

I have  used Papertry Ink Cupcake shape die on the card as a large focal point and then decorated it using Prima Marketing flowers, PTI number die, banner die, buttons, glittery star, SU's pom pom ribbon, lace, Kaisercraft diecut and rhinestones.

I did not want a babyish card but more a baby girlish card. You know what I mean?  I hope I have achieved it. Now I am off to make a similar cupcake birthday tag to put on the gift.

Hope the weather at your end is lovely. And you get to enjoy your weekend.
 Have a great evening!

Pretty in Pink!

Yay! I woke up this morning to find blogger fixed and running. It was frustrating having no access to blogger  except to read only mode. There are a few comments missing on my posts. Hopefully that will be fixed too.

Any way, I have a card I made for couple of challenges. I have used Mojo Monday sketch #190 and  CR84FN27 color challenge. Here is the sketch and the colors of the challenges:)

Here is what I came up with

A feminine pretty in pink card. The glittery dress is a die cut using Taylored Expression apron die on PTI's dressform diecut.. The bow is also made using a die from Taylored Expression. Papers are from Prima Marketing and Crate Paper. The stickers are from Echo Park Be Mine collection., Lace from an Esty shop, orses from Prima Markerting and stamps from Papertrey Ink.
Some closeups

I am not a huge fan of Pink color but I like this card.  I am also excited about using the apron die for a dress with a big bow. My mojo has come back. Thanks to both the challenges. Maybe pink will become one of my fav color after all :)

Thanks for stopping by! I have a busy day ahead today. Have a great weekend!

Luv!

Case Study Challenge #38

I have had a good day today so far after a few weeks of stressful and busy life. I had sometime to make couple of cards for challenges. Here is one of them for Case Study challenge muse by Sarah Martina Parker.

And here is my take on the challenge.

Unfortunately, I am late for the challenge. But thats OK and I thought I will post my card anyway. So here it is. Hope I am able to do the next challenge on time :)

Pattern papers and flower from Prima Marketing, Sentiment stamps, green satin ribbon and cardstock base from papertrey Ink, Brown flower teim from Webster Pages, Butterfly sticker from Echo Park Be Mine collection and pink flower from Maya Road.

Winter is setting in and I am having chilly days. Trying to get my woolen quits and electric blankets set up, service my heaters .....  Photographing my photos seems to be a problem. I should get that light box done soon. I have had a lot of new goodies come through my door and I can wait to ink them up and start creating :)

But right now, I have to fill some school application forms for my son. So got to go now. See you soon. Have a great day!

Luv!

Card Patterns #114

Ah hha! finally after about two days of not knowing what happened to my blogspot, I am able to do this post. I have a spinning problem with new post page. It would not load fully and the spinning icon appeared to be spinning indefinitely. It was frustrating not knowing what the problem was until I discovered many many blogspot users in Australia and Asia are having the same problem. And while that the problem is getting sorted out, we were told to use the old editor instead of the new one.

Anyway, I have a card share today. I made it for Card Patterns Sketch #114.
Here is the sketch for you

And here is my take on the sketch.

I have used Kaisercraft Chanteuse collection papers, rubons, lace and diecuts, Papertrey Ink cardstock, Stipped ribbon from Stampin' Up!, flowers from Prima Marketing. No stamping on this card. Love the pretty flower rubons on the card from Kaisercraft Chantesuse collection. Also like how the card turned out because I have restarted making cards after a long gap.

Hoping IT geeks will fix the bug on blogger and the new editor will start working soon. So please forgive my small photo until then.
The enginners have fixed blogger and the new editor is working now. So I have replaced the photo of my card to a larger one :)

Have a great day!

Prayer request please

Last couple of weeks was very stressful and exhausting. We had so many deaths in our family for past 6 months. We lost most of our older generation. Now there is a one more family member on life support at the hospital. So my in-laws had only one week to spend with us before they had to rush back home. All this me put us under tremendous stress.  We are still dealing with the situation but now its a waiting game. Everything has been done and we are hoping for a miracle. So please keep me and my family member in your prayers.

I had no time to craft until today and I thought a little time off making a card would help me reduce my stress. I have tried to focus and make a card and I did make one. So there is a post coming soon with a card share.

Thanks once again for your prayers.
