CAS(E) this Sketch #43

Hey everybody,

There is a brand new sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge Blog.
This is one awesome sketch from Karolyn Loncon.

I say awesome sketch because this sketch helped me get my mojo back. I have been struggling to get creative for past few days. I was blank to be honest. Totally lost it. So today after help from few friends on Facebook, I put some loud music on my computer, cleaned my desk, printed this sketch and made a Christmas card. Here is my take on the sketch.

The pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye last year's Christmas collection. The beautiful big Poinsettia is from Uniko Studio's Pure Florals: Poinsettia Stamp Set. Rhinestones from Kaisercraft This card does not look CAS but it took me 15 minutes to get it all together. The most time I spent was colouring the Poinsettia and cut it out. Rest was just trimming the papers, stamping the sentiment and assembling them all together.
Yes, I have started making Christmas cards. I have a huge amount to make this time. School fete stall, friends and family, shop and classes. That is going to be a LOT of Christmas cards. So I am starting early. This is as early as it can get for me.
Ok! I am rambling a lot. I will stop it now. Check out CAS(E) this Sketch Blog for more inspiration. and play along the sketch.

Thanks for stopping by!

Super Free Saturday!

Hello Lovely! Last Saturday of the month is exciting because it is Super Free Saturday of the month. Yes, Uniko Studio is giving away some free digis for you to work with.

Wow! I have worked with pastel colours to my surprise lol! And I like it. It is going to be spring in a few days in the southern hemisphere. I am loving the gorgeous colours which are starting to appear in nature.
I simply printed the digis and cut them out. I then layered with with a polka dot pattern paper from Kaisercraft Miss Nelly Collection which perfectly matches the free digis. I love that flower. So pretty. And cardmakers, you can use the PL cards on your cards too. I have layered them on my card.

These digis are available from Uniko studio shop for FREE to download and use them. You don't need photoshop software. Just print them out on a cardstock and enjoy creating.

Introducing Jar of Sunshine and Folk Art Blooms

Welcome to day #3 preview of The Craft's Meow August new release.

the craft's meow.

We are introducing two new stamp sets called Jar of Sunshine and Folk Art Blooms. These two stamp sets are designed by Nina B Designs.
Here is my card made using Jar of Sunshine stamp set.

Normally I am not a big fan of jars. But this jar is beautifully shaped that I love it. The set also have accessories to go with the jar. Beautiful stamp set.

This is my card made using Folk Art stamp Set.

This is very different card for me. I have gone for a vintage folk art look using cram cardstock base and autumn colours. I think it is perfect especially with the card for gran.  I like it myself:) Unusual for me and turned out beautiful. So you can create your custom folk art frame using your colour combination, modern or traditional or vintagy....

You love both the set?  The Craft's Meow is giving away one lucky person this stamp set. make sure you leave a comment at The Craft's Meow Blog to enter a chance to win this gorgeous stamp set.

See you tomorrow with another dreamy stamp set:)

Hugs!
